In all the recent hoopla I have fallen behind on news of the outside world. I hear some pigs in Guatemala have caught a cold or something.

Thankfully, Shawn has sent along some clever work from some fellows who have dressed up the usual ho-hum news a bit. Perfect for a new parent -- here&

      • So much to do, so little time...
        04/25/09
This week has been crazy busy, crazy emotional ...just crazy. There are loads of tales to tell and feelings to share, but unfortunately also very little time to do so now. Here are a couple though:

-- I cried at Target when I had to run out and get some things for my Boy. I missed him, an

        Dear Son:

I am on my way to greet you for the first time face to face. I'm flying back from Charlotte, where I was working when your mom called to say you're on the way. Charlotte is in North Carolina, but don't worry about that just yet. We've got a long time to teach

This may not be the younger set's cup of tea, but if you're 35+ and fancy some decent retro humor, head on over to DorkYearbook.com for a trip down memory lane. Commodore 64s, big hair, and joysticks abound.

Thanks to MichaelW for passing this site along.

Old news here for you lot over the in the UK, but this is worth a look from the rest of you. A surprising entrant on Britain's Got Talent really raised some eyebrows with this performance. When I first saw her I was thinking Angela Lansbury in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, but frumpier.

I was right last time about this being a crap site, and wrong about righting the ship. But this evening I got a second wind in the form of two pints of Guinness. Following is a load of stuff that has happened to me or that has been on mind since the last catch-up. Can you handle all of this?
