        08/30/08

When you get a chance, head over to DavidCondos.com to check out David's new three-track EP. It'll be available for free download for a month.

These three songs are more of the same on the heels of the album Smoking City. Which is to say very listenable, vocally supe

      • Palin in comparison
        08/29/08
Anybody besides me totally blown away by John McCain's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate? A first-term governor of the third least populous state, and her only previous political experience is that of being on the city council and then mayor of a village of 5,000. With z

      • DNC'n is DN-Believin'
        08/26/08
Sorry it's been so long since I rapped at ya. Work's been ripping me a new one again lately. Plus, it's been time to feed the political junkie habit as the DNC kicked off yesterday.

Speaking of which -- and I say this as a guy who's supported Obama since very early in

      • The Shadow Knows
        08/21/08
Right as I am about to abandon all hope in the power of the human spirit to come up with something innovatively entertaining, Shawn collaborates with Conan and YouTube to save me from the depths of despair. Enjoy:

      • What's a convicted and shamed child molester to do?
        08/20/08

It's interesting watching what might next happen to Gary Glitter, having been released from a Vietnamese prison following time served for 'obscene acts with children'. It's a bit like tracking OJ's white Bronco -- you didn't know what the trapped rat was goi

      • The secret to a long and happy life revealed
        08/19/08
Why is it that the older men get, the more they feel they can just say whatever runs across their minds? Ernest Borgnine supports this assessment.

Thanks to ALove for this one.

        08/17/08

I threw a few photos of our recent escapade in Mexico into the photo gallery. The Wife says she is still going to guest blog an overview of the trip.

      • EEK!
        08/14/08
The 11 family is extremely pleased to announce that there's a new Kirsch in town. Daniel and Laura finally welcomed the well-done Evan Edward into the world Tuesday afternoon. The hairy little guy weighed in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces and was 1 foot and 9.5 inches tall.

        All are healthy

      • Happy Birthday to the Wife
        08/11/08
The Wife turns 37 today. I've wished her happy birthday via card, telephone, instant message, and I think email too. So why not mention it on the internet too?

Happy birthday Love -- you complete me.

        The Wife wanging a wellie.

      • So long Chef
        08/10/08

11 broadcasts tonight from Manchester, New Hampshire. The weather is crap, and me without my umbrella. It better improve soon or I'll be forced to have a bad impression of it, fresh lobster and supposedly lovely autumns notwithstanding.

Sad news today from down the road i

      • Don't even go there
        08/06/08
A couple of Nashville locale-oriented tidbits for you today. Both of them disappointing.

First up, the Loveless Cafe, iconic staple of southern-cooked, lardalicious goodness, has been violated. It seems that former Bush adviser and nation-destroyer Karl Rove was spotted eating there recen

      • Obersting back onto the scene
        08/04/08

Sorry for the horrible pun there, but I'm well out of practice. Is anybody still looking at this space anyway? Morans. Ah yes, a comment from ALove, just to keep the carrot before the donkey.

In case you didn't recognize, the subject of the entry pays homage to Conor
