Before you ask, I've not heard it. But I do love the album cover which Noel claims is the responsibility of Julian House 'the most expensive graphic designer in London'.
Here is my band's album cover, designed by...emmmm...me, the cheapest graphic designer in London. You can now buy our album on Amazon and download it in the US from Amazon.com

( 2.7 / 60 )On my way to work I pass a drive-thru McDonald's. I am not a regular McDonald's visitor but I do very much like their Big Breakfast.
The first time I had a Big Breakfast was in Florida. My Dad and I were on standby for a flight coming back from Miami to Heathrow, I would have been about 12. When there was no room on the flight we would have to stay over in a local motel and go back to the airport the next day and queue up and hope to get on. So we were in a local motel where we would lounge and swim all day until it was airport time and the motel we were in had a free shuttle bus to a local shopping mall with a McDonalds. My Dad and I took the bus and mooched and had a Big Breakfast so I guess the morning McDonald's brings back some nice memories.
The other morning after going to the dentist, I wasn't due at work for another hour, so I went to McDonald's there too. I actually sat in the restaurant. They had flowers on the table. I spent 10 minutes eating hash brown and that weird spicy sausage burger thing. Lovely.
The Mcdonald's on my way to work is about 15 minutes from my office. Assuming there is no traffic. So if there is no traffic I can get a Mcdonald's breakfast and get to work and it will still be warm. Thing is to get to the McDonald's I need to be in the left hand lane at the roundabout, but my lane in the right lane. So at some point I need to decide if there is too much traffic - meaning cold McDo. If traffic is nil then I need to make my way to the left lane. Then I need to decide if I really want a faceful of salt and fat or if I should have All Bran and toast at work. These are the difficult decisions I face.
I need to go and get some breakfast now.

( 3 / 41 )I can only apologise to all those folk who continue to visit this blog hoping to read something new and commenting on the stuff. Not only have I been updating less and less frequently I also realised that the stinking blog no longer updates the recent comments or emails me when someone does comment. You people have been busier on here than I...and I didn't even notice!
I salute you all and pledge to update more often and to fix the recent comments thing.

( 3 / 52 )I have barely touched this site in recent months. Mainly because I have been busy updating the band website at www.magic-ship.com.
We have just released an album which you can buy online.
Please do head over there and show some support.

( 3 / 50 )Thanks to Axe for bringing this one to my attention. It's TheLemmy Movie. A bit like 'Tigger Movie' but without the Tiggers and I imagine more swearing and guitars. Looking forward to this in 2009.

Chin up! Shoulders back! You got a body like a Marshall stack.

( 3 / 43 )I tip my hat to Ben for using his musical detective powers to uncover this one.
I have taking a liking, after one listen, to Coldplay's "Violet Hill". The new single is free for a week so go listen to it there then come back.
Now go listen to this: John Miles - "Stranger in the City".
Admittedly it might take a little jump. But the two tracks aren't 'Miles' apart
Who's with me?

( 2.9 / 51 )When I am not updating this blog, dusting my collection of tea pots or trading insults with strangers on the internet, I play guitar in the band Magic Ship. All this time and you didn't know!? Well now you do. As a taster to the full length album (out in June), here is a video of us rocking the song 'Fly!' which will be on the new record. Check it...
